Kid Repossessed While Mom Gambles
There are always some pretty crazy gambling stories floating around, but this was really takes the biscuit. It has been reported that a woman from Florida called emergency services last Friday night to report that her car had been stolen along with her 11 year old son who has been sleeping inside.
After a few phone calls the police department came to the conclusion that the car had not been stolen, but in fact repossessed. Why the boy was still inside remains a mystery, but the Mother was quick to point out that she checked up on him every 10 minutes. A security guard for the casino was reported as saying “she was playing for well over an hour before she noticed the car was missing”. The woman says she was heading to the local grocery store when the casino caught her eye and she was unable to drive past without paying a quick visit for a game of poker or two. Local police arrested the woman at the scene and she has subsequently been charged with leaving a minor unattended. We’ve got our bets placed for Mom of the year, have you?
