What Happens in Vegas: my favorite casino movie
Ask me which is my favorite movie…I don’t know. Ask me which is my favorite casino movie and it’s very easy to reply: What Happens in Vegas!
Sometimes I close my eyes and I dream I’m Cameron Diaz: tall, thin, blonde, smart and funny. I have this perfect life, or it seems like that, I plan everything, I have a boyfriend I love, and bla bla. But wait a minute….who is this average, ugly man I’m living with? It’s a man that dares to dump me because I’m too perfect! Can you believe it??? Too bad, thank God I have a friend and I can spend with her a great weekend in Las Vegas (this was the gift I bought for my EX boyfriend).
Good! We head to Las Vegas and guess what? Our beautiful and comfortable suite has a shared bathroom (have you ever seen something like that in Las Vegas…whatever…is a movie….right). There are two guys in the other room, and we do not want any guy around, we have to party, enjoy and forget men. But one of this two guys seems very attracted to me and insists to spend the evening together.
At this point I do disagree with the script …. I would have no doubts in accepting an invitation if if it comes from Ashton Kutcher!!! One of the biggest hunk of Hollywood! Anyway I accept and we spend the evening and the night together drinking, dancing, chatting and playing at the casino. Yes of course, we are in Las Vegas, gambling is “mandatory”. Lets go for some shoots at the craps table…is our lucky evening. One shoot after the other we win, win, and win again! ….Well then we also get married in a Vegas wedding chapel….I guess we were a little high, but not too much if you were able to choose that wonderful wedding ring with dice…I love it!
The morning after we are already fighting but Ashton has this good idea of playing my quarter in 25c slot machine, the reels spin…and this is Vegas Baby! We win 3 millions dollars. The rest of the movie is all about being horrible to each other and fall in love.
Mmmmhhh yes, I would pay to be Cameron and meet my Ashton in Vegas.
